(Senior) Quantum Engineer

Role overview

As a (Senior) Quantum Engineer at SemiQon, you will be a crucial part of our mission to redefine the capabilities of quantum computing. You will work closely with our hardware experts and collaborate with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and specialists to develop and optimize measurement solutions for our state-of-the-art quantum processors.

Responsibilities

You will be performing quantum dot and spin qubit characterization in the SemiQon laboratory. Designing and performing QPU demonstrator experiments with team of experts and with collaborators. You will be in an instrumental role for building future fault-tolerant quantum processor technology.

Your Skillset

  • Prior expertise on working with semiconductor spin-qubits
  • Good overall understanding of solid state physics
  • Good understanding of measurement techniques
  • Basic programming skills
  • Professional English skills

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A degree in computer science, quantum computing, or a related field. Advanced degrees and research experience are a plus.
  • Measurement Proficiency: Proficiency in measurement methodologies, especially of semiconductor spin-qubits.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team     members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A creative problem solver who thrives in tackling complex challenges and driving innovation in the quantum computing hardware domain.
